Cloud Control

Framework & CMS

Cloud Clontrol is a flexible, easy to implement PHP framework and CMS. The best thing? It's open source and completely free to use!

Dynamic Documents

Cloud Control content is stored in documents. These can be created dynamically from the CMS and tailored to fit your needs! Each document has it's own fields. Fields can be viewed as attributes for a document.

Bricks

A document can also contain bricks, which you could call sub-documents. Bricks are predefined sets of fields, that can be reused in any document type. A good example for using bricks is for use in a carousel. Each carousel item can be defined as a brick. As a user you can then add multiple carousel item bricks to the document.

Intuitive Sitemap

The structure of your website is managed in the Sitemap section of the Cloud Control CMS. You can define uri's within your site and configure them to use one of the build-in components, or let them use a component your wrote yourself. Additionaly, you can use regular expressions, to let a certain subset of uri's be handled by one of the components.

Flexible Storage

By default, Cloud Control uses an easy to understand plain-text JSON storage structure. So when you start building your website using Cloud Control, you don't have to worry about setting up complex databases.

Database for production environments

If you are ready for deployment to a production environment, you can easily let Cloud Control convert your current storage to any of the desired database structures. The currently supported database platforms are:

  • JSON plain-text
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQLite

Nb. The current release is still in alpha version, so at this moment, only plain-text JSON is supported for now.
